How to Use

Select text

Highlight the text you want to edit in your document.

Open Quick Edit menu

Right-click to open the context menu, or use the floating toolbar that appears above your selection.

Choose a command

Select from the available AI commands like “Improve Writing” or “Translate”.

Accept or dismiss

Review the AI-generated result. Click to accept the changes, or press Escape to keep the original text.

Ask in Chat

At the bottom of the Quick Edit menu, you’ll find “Ask in Chat”. This option sends your selected text to the AI Chat panel where you can:
  • Ask specific questions about the text
  • Request custom transformations
  • Get detailed explanations or feedback
Quick Edit is perfect for fast, targeted improvements. For more complex edits or when you need to explain what you want, use “Ask in Chat” to have a conversation with the AI.

Real-Time Preview

When you select a Quick Edit command, the AI processes your text and shows the result in real-time. You can see the changes before accepting them, making it easy to decide if the edit is what you wanted.
