Features

Streaming Responses

AI responses appear in real-time as they’re generated. Start reading immediately without waiting for the full response.

Extended Thinking

For complex requests, the AI shows its reasoning process. Expand the “Thinking” section to see how it approached your question.

@ Mention Files

Type @ followed by a filename to include that file’s content as context. This helps the AI understand your project.

Image Upload

Paste or upload images for the AI to analyze using Claude Vision. See the Image Analysis section for details.

AI Capabilities

The AI assistant can help you with:
  • Writing assistance - Get help drafting, expanding, or refining your content
  • Research questions - Ask about topics related to your document
  • Content analysis - Have the AI review and provide feedback on your writing
  • Brainstorming - Generate ideas and outlines for your projects
  • Direct editing - Ask the AI to make specific changes to your document

Document Editing

The AI can directly edit your document when you ask. For example:
  • “Add a conclusion to this document”
  • “Fix the grammar in the second paragraph”
  • “Rewrite the introduction to be more engaging”
  • “Add a table summarizing the key points”
When the AI makes edits, you’ll see the changes highlighted in your document.

Knowledge Base Integration

Upload documents to the chat for the AI to reference. The AI can search, read, and cite information from your uploaded files. See Knowledge Base for details.

Tips for Effective Prompts

Be specific - Instead of “improve this”, try “make this paragraph more concise while keeping the technical details”
Provide context - Use @ mentions to include relevant files, or explain the purpose of your document
Iterate - If the first response isn’t quite right, follow up with clarifications or ask for adjustments

Conversation History

Your chat history is saved per document. When you return to a document, your previous conversation is preserved so you can continue where you left off.
