AI Autocomplete provides intelligent text suggestions as you write, similar to GitHub Copilot for code. It helps you write faster by predicting what comes next based on your context.

How It Works

Start writing

As you type, the AI analyzes your document context and writing style.

See suggestions

Suggestions appear as faded gray text after your cursor.

Accept with Tab

Press Tab to accept the suggestion and insert it into your document.

Keep typing to dismiss

If you don’t want the suggestion, simply continue typing. The suggestion will disappear.

Context-Aware Suggestions

The AI considers:
  • Your document content - Suggestions match the topic and style of what you’re writing
  • Recent text - The AI pays attention to your most recent sentences for continuity
  • Document type - Technical documents get technical suggestions, creative writing gets creative suggestions

Tips for Better Suggestions

Write clear sentences - The AI gives better suggestions when it understands your intent from the preceding text.
Use proper formatting - Headings and structure help the AI understand the context of each section.
Be patient at paragraph starts - Suggestions work best mid-sentence when there’s more context to work with.

When to Use Autocomplete

Autocomplete is most helpful when:
  • Writing repetitive content
  • Completing common phrases
  • Continuing a thought you’ve started
  • Drafting content quickly
Autocomplete suggestions are generated in real-time and adapt to your writing style. The more you write, the better the suggestions become.
